Some songs aren’t written to impress anyone. They’re written because something wouldn’t leave. Old friends. Late nights. The strange feeling of watching life move forward without asking permission.
There’s a lot in here about growing up — about drifting apart, holding on too tightly, and wondering if everyone else understands something you don’t. Not everything gets wrapped up neatly. Some things just sit there, unresolved.
If certain memories feel louder at night, if time feels like it’s slipping through your hands, if you’ve ever missed a version of your life that doesn’t exist anymore — this will probably make sense.

“Contagious” is out everywhere.
Contagious is out!!
After probably the hundredth watch of Dinner in America, something about it stuck around long enough to turn into a song. There’s a certain kind of love in that movie that feels completely its own, and capturing even a little bit of that feeling sounded fun.
And it really was. From start to finish, this was just a genuinely fun song to make. It’s nice when something comes together and the whole process reminds you how much you actually enjoy creating in the first place.
Really happy with where this one ended up and even happier that it finally gets to be heard.
